Cardiovascular Sonography Program Director

DK Global Search is seeking an experienced and student-focused Cardiovascular Sonography Program Director to lead and grow an exceptional cardiovascular sonography education program in Fort Worth, Texas.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a cardiovascular sonography professional who is passionate about education, mentorship, clinical excellence, and preparing the next generation of healthcare providers. The Program Director will provide academic and operational leadership, support faculty and students, maintain program quality, and ensure alignment with applicable institutional, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

In this role, you will combine clinical knowledge with strong leadership skills to create a supportive, outcomes-driven learning environment where students can succeed academically, professionally, and personally.

What You’ll Do

Lead, manage, and continuously improve all aspects of the Cardiovascular Sonography program.

Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and performance support to program faculty and instructional staff.

Partner with faculty to ensure curriculum, instructional materials, lesson plans, and clinical education experiences remain current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

Support the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, development, and retention of qualified instructors and clinical education personnel.

Monitor program performance metrics, including student retention, completion, credentialing outcomes, graduate employment, and employer satisfaction.

Advise and support students throughout the program, including orientation, academic progress, professional development, and career-readiness efforts.

Work collaboratively with admissions and campus leadership to support prospective students and communicate program expectations.

Establish, organize, and lead program advisory board meetings to maintain meaningful engagement with local employers, clinical partners, and industry professionals.

Gather and evaluate feedback from students, graduates, faculty, clinical affiliates, employers, and advisory board members to guide ongoing program improvement.

Assist with academic planning, class scheduling, faculty coverage, clinical placement coordination, and new program-development initiatives.

Maintain accurate program records and documentation required for institutional reporting, regulatory review, and accreditation compliance.

Ensure the program follows applicable institutional policies as well as state, federal, and accreditation standards.

Collaborate closely with campus leadership, academic administration, registrar functions, and clinical partners to support a high-quality student experience.

Represent DK Global Search and the program professionally within the Fort Worth healthcare and education communities.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Current registry, license, or certification in a cardiovascular sonography specialty required.

At least 3–5 years of professional cardiovascular sonography experience.

Prior leadership, supervisory, management, teaching, precepting, or program-coordination experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated understanding of cardiovascular sonography education, clinical standards, credentialing expectations, and workforce needs.

Strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced academic environment.
